National Capital Network of Sculptors - Group Show 2010
Location: Patrick John Mills Gallery, 286 Hinchey Ave, Ottawa, ON
Date: May 13 - 29, 2010
James Fletcher, a previous president of the National Capital Network of Sculptors and prominent Canadian Sculptor demonstrated carving soapstone at the gallery on May 15th.
The Ottawa Sculpture Show 2009
“The Ottawa Sculpture Show” ran from September 25th-27th, 2009.
Located at the spacious, newly renovated Saint Brigid’s Centre for the Arts & Humanities at 314 St. Patrick Street, the show displayed a variety of beautiful artwork ranging from figurative to abstract with a variety of sizes and media. This show was another great accomplishment by the talented NCNS sculptors in the Ottawa region. A big thanks to everyone who helped to make this event a great success!
Dimensions 2008
Our last year's Dimensions group show "Rhythm" from Oct 23rd through Oct 26th, 2008 inside the 5th Avenue Court, 99 5th Avenue and Bank St. was another great success. Once again we are pleased to announce that Network members made a generous donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa through a portion of sales.
Dimensions 2007
Encounters”, ran from October 26 – November 4, 2007. The exhibition was a great success, achieving both record attendance and sales of members’ works of art. We are also pleased to report that Network members made a generous donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, through a portion sales proceeds, to promote arts programming for youth.
